The Miraval Studios are located in Provence exactly in Château de Miraval and are the result of a renovation of the Miraval Born Studio in 1977 and closed in 1998.
In 2011 the property of the walls and the area was purchased from Brad Pitt and his wife Angelina Jolie (the two divorced in 2016). The structure remained inactive until the renovation of the studies then reopened in October 2022 with the new name of Miraval Studios owned by the American actor with the producer Francesce Damien Quintard.
Over the years during which the structure in Provence has been operational as a recording studio (1977 – 1998) several artists have alternated. Among those who have used the services of the Miraval studio in addition to the aforementioned Pink Floyd appear: AC/DC, The care, Muse, Yes, UB40, Rammstein, Wham! And many others.
The renewed Miraval Studios From 2022 to today they have seen among others recorded Sade, Travis Scott (who made the album “Utopia” of 2023) and Nick Cave With his band that stopped on “Hard Disco” in Provence part of his latest album “Wild God”. To them, Ghali is also added.
