Vieux Farka Touré will bring desert blues to Madrid

Born in Mali and son of the legendary Ali Farka ToureVieux has turned the heritage of desert blues into a language of its own, incorporating rock, Latin rhythms and other African influences. In his latest works, they stand out “Les Racines” (22) and “Ali”his celebrated collaboration with Khruangbinin which he reinterprets eight of his father’s songs from a contemporary and psychedelic perspective.
