Vetusta Morla present the song “If you return”, accompanied by its video clip
Old Morla They have released “Si Volveres”, the first song from their new album project. The song comes accompanied by a video clip and begins its Return Tour – Songs of Ida.
The band appeals to the phrase “we will return when we are the owners of our tomorrow”, by Fernando de los Ríos, to underline the idea of returning only when there is value. “If you return” is a production of Hector Reo and Old Morla for Small Somersaultmixed and mastered by Oscar Clavel. It also comes with a video clip shot on celluloid, in 16 millimeter format, which reconstructs the narrative of the song through an ellipsis, about the story of two friends who share scars that do not define or point out them, but rather construct them. Your director, Ivan Blancoproposed to speak of the body as “a surface where the psychological and the social are inscribed.”
Old Morla They point to the reunion with the place from which to imagine tomorrow. They began to detect it at the beginning of the year, when its six members met at the rehearsal room to play and compose together for more than seven months, a process that has promoted this new tour.
Regarding this return, the band has stated: “Songs are only truly born when people meet. In the end, they end up being shared memory. This return is not just a tour, it is reactivating that unique mechanism where music happens between people.” And they add: “Gathering around a song remains one of the truest ways to imagine that things can go well.”
