Vasco Rossi’s story becomes a comic
It is called “Vasco – young anger” and is the first part of a graphic novel dedicated to the path of rockol, included in a larger project entitled “Vasco. A life-long fairy tale” edited by Sergio Bonelli Editore. Vasco had already worked with the historic publishing house on a project dedicated to its best-known character, Dylan Dog. The project – we read in the notes – is divided into three color volumes of one hundred pages, which “trace the life and career of Vasco through an intense, evocative and profoundly human comic narrative. A story that crosses music, words, images and collective memory, providing the portrait of an artist who has marked generations”.
The texts are by Barbara Baraldi, editor and screenwriter of Dylan Dog and already author of “Dylan Dog: Jenny”, the previous collaboration, while the drawings are by Sergio Gerasi and Flavia Biondi. Each volume will contain extras with archive materials, autographed writings and historical images. The second and third volumes will be published in July and autumn: this is the cover of the first with Vasco’s portrait. The first volume will be on sale at the price of 23.00 Euros
