Vasco Rossi: here is the band of the Tour 2025
Team that wins does not change. The band that will accompany Vasco Rossi in the concerts of the “Vasco Live 2025”, the new Zocca’s rocker tour scheduled for this summer, is the same as last year. The tests at the colors of Castellaneta Marina, in the province of Taranto, a disco chosen by Rossi for some time as a headquarters for him and his entourage close to the debut of his tours, come alive. And in the videos published by Vasco himself on social media the musicians engaged with him appear these days.
The band will lead the right arm of Rocker wins Pastano (ideal heir of Guido Elmi, who passed away in 2017), who in addition to playing guitars also deals with the music direction of the shows. With him Stef Burns (guitars), Andrea Torresani (bass and choirs), Alberto Rocchetti (keyboards and choirs), Donald Renda (drums – entered the group in 2024, taking the place of Matt Laug), Antonello D’Urso (programming, acoustic guitar and choirs), Roberta Montanari (Cori) and to the wind Andrea Ferrario (Sax), Tiziano Bianchi (trumpet) Solimando (trombone). Claudio “Il Gallo” Golinelli, for years bassist of the Band of Vasco, will reach the band on the stages of the stadiums as “special guest” as a tradition, after being forced to renounce the intense live activity in 2018, leaving the place in Torresani, due to health problems (in 2020 he was also subjected to a liver transplant).
“An extraordinary group”, Vasco Rossi defines it. That in the videos shared directly by the tests, it seems to have involuntarily spread an anticipation on one of the songs present in the lineup: in the background at a clip it is possible to listen to “it was excluded”. In January Vasco said: “I tried to sing a very Inter song with a new arrangement … I am very significant for this historical period too”. Whether it’s the song taken from the album “No danger … for you” from 1996?
