Vasco Rossi guest in Sanremo, Carlo Conti: “He will remain a dream”
“My dream? Start with Vasco Rossi singing Albachiara “: so a year ago, in the aftermath of the announcement of his return to the helm of the Sanremo Festival after the farewell of Amadeus, Carlo Conti confessed his wishes as an artistic director of the event. In the end, however, the Tuscan conductor was unable to fulfill them: Zocca’s rocker last February decided to decline the invitation that had been delivered to him by Conti, keeping away from Ariston for the twentieth year in a row. Now Conti and Vasco have met in person. It happened on the occasion of the recent concert held by the voice of “RiCiculated life” in Florence, at the Visarno Arena, part of the tour that the singer -songwriter is holding in the main stages and arenas of the peninsula. Conti did not fail to share a photo taken in the backstage together with Rossi and from what is deduced from the caption that accompanies the image he tried to convince Blasco to accept the invitation to return to the festival next February, however collecting another “no”. “The Komandante, the myth … will remain a dream of mine …”, he wrote Conti.
Vasco Rossi’s last passage at the Sanremo Festival remains that of 2005, when Rocker accepted the invitation of the then conductor and artistic director Paolo Bonolis.
