Tyler, The Creator has announced a new album
Tyler, The Creator is about to release a new album: “Don’t Tap the Glass” was surprisingly announced by the Brooklyn Barclays Center in Iears. The publication is confirmed by the official Golf Wang website where vinyls, CDs and box sets already bookable in view of the publication, which should take place on Monday 21.
Ik new chapter arrives at less than a year after the previous album, “Chromakopia”, released on October 28, 2024 and while the artist is still taking him on tour – in Italy he went to the Assago Forum on April 30, 2025 (here the review). The tour will go on until September October.
This album also comes out of the normal publication and promotion patterns. Of “Chromakopia” we wrote:
Each of his disc builds an entire aesthetic world, a thousand miles away from the hip-hop imagination to which we are used to, but made of chromatic choices, clothing, quotes and graphic elements always of great refinement.
These are some reasons why every Tyler album, The Creator always arouses great interest. In addition, add the provocative Vis of certain his outputs and declarations: for this “Chromakopia”, for example, we wanted to rebel against the golden rule of record releases on Friday, to be launched on Monday at dawn in New York. (…)
Never like this time the imagination created by Tyler manages to confuse and send off the way. (…) All this made it think of social-political dystopian themes, and instead we find ourselves in front of his most intimate and autobiographical album.
