Twin Temple announce album produced by Shooter Jennings

That musical and real marriage that they are Twin Temple has announced what will be his third full-length, “Doomed Lovers”which has produced Shooter Jennings and it will be available in October.

Twin Temple are a really particular group. Their combination of a 100% vintage sound and satanic imagery turns them into a kind of green dog whose music sits somewhere between different worlds. That is to say, it can be of interest to rockers interested in the dark as well as to followers of the pop tradition of the fifties and sixties. In any case, we are going to have them back among us with a third job.

“Doomed Lovers” will be released on October 9th by the duo’s own label, Pentagrammaton Records. It has been produced by Shooter Jennings and it arrives while they are at the center of the controversy. A few weeks ago, country artist Charley Crockett – with whom they shared the bill on tour – expelled them from the tour for their satanic imagery. The response was immediate and he himself Jack White He publicly invited them through social networks to support him at his September concerts. These performances are in addition to those that the duo has on their side as headliners and the tour that they will also share with Danzig.

One more time, “Doomed Lovers” It has been recorded in a completely analogue way to capture the entire spirit of the group that, working with Jennings, has decided to include an orchestra of thirty-seven musicians for the orchestral parts of the album.

“Doomed Lovers” It is inspired by artists such as Roy Orbison, The Ronettes or The Shangri-Las, although it also has more rock elements such as the drums of Matt Chamberlain (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden) and Jay Bellerose (Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Joe Henry).

“Doomer Lovers” will include a total of eight songs that the group self-releases on its Pentagrammaton Records label and is distributed by Secretly Canadian, after “Twin Temple” (20) and “God Is Dead” (23), in addition to several EP’s and live shows that they have released since they began their career.

The songs on the album will be “Doomed Lovers”, “Possessed”, “I Want Blood”, “Love You To Death”, “Haunt Me”, “Someone In The Walls”, “Monster” and “Nothing Matters”.
