Tony Effe, cameo for the new episodes of “Emily in Paris”
As of this morning, September 12, new episodes of “Emily in Paris” are available on Netflix. The second part of the fourth season of the series starring Phil Collins’ daughter, Lily Collins, is set in Rome and features several Italian celebrities as guests.
In one of the five episodes published today on the streaming platform, we see – among others – the Italians Eugenio Franceschini and Raoul Bova. On the occasion of the release, Nerflix Italia published a video that involves Tony Effe. The rapper from the capital, and former member of the Dark Polo Gang, is the protagonist of a video montage in which we see Emily Cooper arriving in Rome and meeting him as a new neighbor.
“Things we never thought we’d see: Emily and Tony Effe in the same place,” reads the caption of the clip, accompanied by a comment from Netflix Italy that clarifies: “No, Tony is not in the new season of Emily in Paris but it’s still the cameo we always wanted.”
Nicolò Rapisarda, this is the singer’s real name, born in 1991, had already had experience as an actor, having taken part at just four years old in “Viaggi di nozze” by Carlo Verdone and a few years later in the 1999 television series “Tutti per uno”.
The participation in “Emily in Paris” comes at a time of great notoriety for Tony Effe, among the protagonists of the summer hits together with Gaia with their “Sesso e samba”, published last May after the release of the rapper’s second solo studio album, “Icon” (here is our review), successor to 2021’s “Untouchable”.
