Tom Araya: “Never listened to Metal before Slayer”
Incredible to say and believe herself, but the singer and bassist of the Thrash Metal Band of Slayer Tom Araya He didn’t listen to metal music before entering the group. Indeed, according to him, he ignored his existence.

Also in 2011 the 63 -year -old Araya spoke with Wikimetal of his first musical influences. “Growing up I always listened to hard rock, acid rock of the 60s, I really liked hard rock music, so I think this is what prompted me to become a rock bassist. Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, those were the bands that in a certain sense I preferred, when I listened to them growing”.
