To make the wishes to Rector (today is the day of his birthday, but the ladies are not said to be the age), it would have been easy to put together a list of his greatest successes, and he had several. But we preferred to contact an “rector” skill: Emiliano Longo, author of a book, “Rector especially”, in which he analyzes the repertoire of the singer/author of Castelfranco Veneto, with particular attention to the lyrics of his songs. We asked him for a list of “Deep Cuts”, that is, of perhaps lesser known songs but who are representative of the Rectorian poetics, as he has evolved during his business. Here they are below.
