Theater of Horrors, the return: “For us rock is religion”

Theater of the horrors: the scaletta of the date zero

If you don’t want to ruin the surprise, stop here. The news of the reunion of the Teatro degli Orroori, with an adjoining “never say” tour,, consisting of nine dates departing last February 20 from Modenahe warmed up the heart of many fans, ten years after the farewell to the scenes. The band of Pierpaolo Capovilla, Gionata Mirai, Giulio Ragno Favero and Francesco Valente, embodied one of the latest jolts of an Italian rock far from accommodating, but indeed challenging towards the public. And judging by the choice proposed in the first official release, that spirit remained intact. Who has been at least once to one of their concerts, in some moments of the career overflowing with people, knows it: Their songs have always been “dangerous”, feverish, never dome, written to make the brain move and the body, not to reassure. In essence: The opposite of much of the music circulating today. Capovilla and Favero, interviewed separately with the same questions, told us about the tour, spoke of the group’s rebirth, their conception and vision of music, always “in the obstinate and contrary direction”. Below you can read the scaletta of songs proposed on the first date. It starts from the first album with “My life”, “My God” and “And she came!”without forgetting the most loved songs by the public as “In cold blood”, “I look for you”, “I can’t wait”, “never say never”, “different directions”. Live is an overview of the four career produced discs from the group.
