The WHOs play for the first time in “Going Mobile” concert

The last concert of Whoho He took place on 22 July at the Milan Music Park (Read here the review of the concert). Saturday 16 August the English band resumed live activity, at the Amerant Bank Arena in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, giving way to ‘The Song is over: The North American Farewell Tour’.

Roger Daltrey And Pete Townshend they gave a gem to the public present by performing for the first time ever “Going Mobile”song included in their 1971 album “Who’s Next” (Read the review here). To sing it was Simon TownshendPete’s younger brother, while the harmonica played from Dalrey.

As reported by the British magazine NME, explaining the reason why they were heading to the United States for the farewell concerts, Daltrey last May he declared: “The warmth of the American public over the years was a source of inspiration for me and reflects the feeling that I remember having tried after listening to the first rock discs on the radio. Musical freedom! The rock has given us a sense of generational rebellion. It was fantastic.

At the beginning of this month, always
Roger Daltrey
expressed his concerns about the tour and of how much the concerts can be greeted, wishing that no problems come to the vocal cords, nor that the problems deriving from a previous battle against meningitis prevent him from completing the live. “He caused a lot of damage. He ruined my internal thermometer, so every time I start singing with temperatures above 24 degrees, I find myself sweating, which drains my mineral salts. The risk of getting sick seriously and, I have to be honest, I am nervous at the idea of reaching the end of the tour.”
