There is another song by the new Robert Plant band

The video of Robert Plant’s Tiny Desk Concerts (with surprise)

Do you know what Tiny Desk Concerts are? This is a format that has been popular online for years. Born from an idea by Bob Boilen, host and mind of the online music program All Songs Considered on NPR, the US National Public Radio, the format sees artists known to the public perform live behind the desk of the program hosts, being filmed. The artists who accept the invitation find themselves playing in a very intimate and informal environment, often with reduced arrangements (acoustic or semi-acoustic): the format is known for revealing the most authentic side of the artists. Over the years, many have lent themselves to the game: from Billie EIlish to Coldplay, from Dua Lipa to Alicia Keys, passing through Mac Miller. The last in the series? A rock legend like Robert Plant.

All true. The former Led Zeppelin singer has agreed to record a Tiny Desk Concert together with his new band, Saving Grace, with whom he recorded the recently released eponymous album. And he didn’t fail to surprise Led Zeppelin fans. Plant closed the set with a new version of “Gallows pole”, a traditional song that Led Zeppelin recorded in 1970 for the album “Led Zeppelin III”.
