The prodigy honors Keith Flint on stage
Six years after the death of Keith Flint, who disappeared suicide on March 4, 2019 at the age of 49, the Prodigy wanted to remember once again the late musician. The two former associations of Flint, Liam Howlett and Maxim reality, paid homage to him during the set of the band last night 11 April at the Coachella.
Mc Maxim led the group through a scale of 14 songs on the Mojave Tent stage. During the show – their third in the history of the Festival – the Prodigy projected a shape of the deceased singer on stage, who moved in time with “Firestarter”, their success of 1996, accompanied by fragments of his original voice. A similar tribute had also been proposed to the Reading and Leeds Festival last year.
In the rest of the set, the group overwhelmed the public with some of the greatest successes of its repertoire, including “Breathe”, “Omen” and “Smack My Bitch Up”.
