The Offspring Invite Yungblud On Stage For “Self Esteem”
On August 16th, The Offspring performed on stage at theGampel Open Air Festivalin Switzerland, and for the closing of their set they reserved a special surprise to the fans.
For the last song on the setlist, their hit “Self-esteem” from the 1994 album “Smash”, Dexter Holland and friends they invited Yungblud on stage – also present in the Swiss festival line up – to perform the song together.
As evidence of the joint performance, the Californian band and the British singer-songwriter shared a video on their respective social channels.
The concert in Switzerland comes a few days before the Offspring show scheduled in our area next week. August 21st at Villa Ca’ Cornaro in Bassano del Grappa as part of the AMA Music Festival 2024. For the group, this will be the only Italian date of the 2024 tour.
The Offspring will release their new album, “Supercharged“, successor to 2021’s “Let the bad times roll” (read our interview here and our review here). The song “Make it all right“, also presented live on the stage of the Open Air Festival.
