The Oasis keyboardist talks about the relationship between Noel and Liam

Christian Maddenthe keyboard player who accompanied Oasis live in their reunion, shared some details about life behind the scenes of the tour and the prospect of new dates in 2026.

In August 2024, the Britpop icons announced the “Live ’25” tour, the Gallagher brothers’ first concerts together in 16 years. After kicking things off in the UK, they toured around the world, concluding the journey in Sao Paulo, Brazil on November 23, for a total of 41 shows in 142 days.

Madden shared his reflections on Substack, specifying that it is “the humble perspective of the least famous person in the most famous band to cross the globe this year”. “It’s been a year full of unforgettable experiences” says the musician, who then answers some of the most frequently asked questions about the band, in particular the relationship between Liam and Noel. “Did they really get along well with each other? Yes, they got along well, it wasn’t a forced relationship, it was a sincere human warmth after they forgave each other and began to move forward cautiously. What you saw was real,” writes Madden.

“What was the best show, which city had the best crowd? They were all great, everyone was great, etc. Every South American concert was great. But it was in Buenos Aires, the second night. That crowd had to wait an hour even for security, and when their time came they went wild.” Finally, Madden addresses speculation that there will be more dates in 2026: “They’ll ask me this a lot. Do you really think I know? I’m a worker ant, after all.”

For now, therefore, Liam’s words remain: “There will be an Oasis European tour”.
