The new documentary about John Lennon will be presented in May
The new documentary about John Lennon, “Borrowed Time” will be presented in world preview at the Cine International Film Festival in London next month. The four -day event will be held at Karma Sanctum Soho Hotel in the capital from 7 to 10 May and will include the first screening of the film biographical Friday 9 May. The director of the film, Alan G. Parker, will be present also for an exclusive meeting after the projection.
“Borrowed Time” is a new, ambitious documentary that uses archival films, unpublished interviews and eye testimonies to explore the last decade of life of the Beatles legend. NME has exclusively shared the touching trailer of the film in February. “For the first time ever, it comes The complete story of how John and Yoko met unveiled, also we will talk about the 1981 ‘return tour’ that has never been achieved“, we read in the synopsis of the documentary. “Borrowed Time” is just one of the numerous cinematographic projects related to Lennon currently in progress. “One to One: John & Yoko”, a documentary by Kevin Macdonald, for example, who explores the period spent from the couple in New York from 1971 to 1973, was released in the United Kingdom cinemas on April 11.
