The last words Ozzy Osbourne said to Sharon before dying
More than four months after the death of Ozzy Osbourne, his wife Sharon has decided to break the silence on her husband’s death. He did so in a long interview given to the YouTube channel Piers Morgan Uncensored, in which he also revealed what were the last words said by the king of heavy metal before passing away.
Sharon Osbourne revealed that the night before her death her husband “went back and forth between the bedroom and the bathroom” the entire time, before asking her at 4am to wake up:
I told him: ‘I’m already awake, you woke me up’. And he said, ‘Kiss me,’ before adding, ‘Hug me tight.’.
Sharon Osbourne said that after her husband went downstairs to the house, “exercised for 20 minutes and died.” Sharon added that she felt a sense of regret that that discussion was the last:
If only I had told him that I loved him more… If only I had held him tighter…
In the same interview, Sharon revealed that in the last days of his life Ozzy Osbourne had frequent dreams about “people he had never met”:
I’d ask him, ‘Well, what kind of people?’ And he replied: ‘All different people. I keep walking and walking, and I see all these different people every night. I go back there and I look at these people, and they look at me, and nobody talks. He knew it. He was ready.
Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22nd, just seventeen days after his farewell concert held on July 17th at Villa Park in Birmingham. The show will be revived at the cinema next year thanks to the docu-film, already announced, “Back to the Beginning: Ozzy’s Final Bow”.
