The Gratteful Deads in May publish a box with 60 Live CDs

THE Grateful Dead They announced the release of a limited edition 60 CD box to celebrate the band’s 60th anniversary. “Enjoy the ride”, This is the title delmonumeral work, contains recordings of Concerts from 1969 to 1994with unpublished performances in 20 places covering a quarter of a century, for a total of 450 songs and over 60 hours of music.

In a press release we read: “” Enjoying the Ride “traces an epic journey through the country along the ‘Heady Highway’, with stops in historical stages where the music, the moment and the magic of the gratteful Deads converged in a reliable way and constantly inspired the band to new peaks”.

Among the concerts made available in the box there are those at Winterland, the Frost Amphitheatre, the Madison Square Garden and the Hampon Coliseum.

“Whether they played in the close boundaries of the West Fillmore or under the open sky of the Red Rocks, the Gratteful Deads never played the same show twice”, continues the press release that ends with: “” Enjoying the Ride “is an exciting testimony of this adventurous spirit”. “Of the 20 show shows – always explains the launch press release of the exit – 17 are presented in full material and coming from the same location. With the exception of some songs taken from previous publications, practically all music is unpublished “.

Enjoying the Ride ”is limited to 6,000 copies. The release is scheduled for May 30 and is already available for pre-order.
