The Foo Fighters in acoustic version (or almost)
The Foo Fighters also went behind the desks of the NPR offices for the now legendary Tiny Desk Concert. It is the band’s first for the format of the American public radio station, which has hosted and launched emerging artists but which in recent years has also become a showcase for mainstream artists such as Taylor Swift and U2. The band proposed a set of five songs, including classics from the repertoire and pieces taken from the new album “Your Favorite Toy”. The opening was entrusted – in electric – to “Spit Shine”, one of the songs from the new album “Your Favorite Toy!”, followed by “Learn to Fly” – The setlist also included “Child Actor”, another recent song already performed on TV, as well as two classics from “The Color and The Shape”: “My Hero” and “Everlong”.
During the performance, Dave Grohl joked about a recent television performance, saying that he almost suffocated when breathing in his hair during the performance, after missing the cut before the show. The group arrives at this performance after weeks of intense promotion of the new album, including television appearances, club concerts and festivals. In the next few months the Foo Fighters will be busy on a tour in 2026 which will see them share the bill with Queens of the Stone Age and which will also pass through Italy for a concert in Milan at I-Days on July 5th.
Here is the video of the performance
