The first album of 2025 is by Liberato

While we were busy toasting the arrival of the new year, at the stroke of midnight, the Neapolitan rapper Freed released his new album, “Liberated III”two and a half years after the previous one “Liberated II” (read the review here) released in May 2022.

Among the nine songs on the album it stands out “’O Diary”in which the Neapolitan artist reveals the difficulties he faced in starting to write the songs for the third chapter of his discography: “I didn’t know how to start this third album, I found myself a bit stuck, I had it in my head to do like Lana Del Rey, I wanted to live life. And where did I start? And then I made a summary of my life. I looked at the photos on my phone and started writing.”

The album contains only one featuring, that of Maria Nazionale in “It”while in “Turna” the 1982 classic by is sampled Teresa De Sio “Wish ‘and turn’”.
