The Antonacci holidays are Giacomo Lecchi D’Alessandro and Leonardo Rizzi, both authors, composers, multi -instrumentalists and producers. Giacomo was born in Genoa and supports for Genoa. Leonardo was born in Geneva, he lived in Siena and cheers for Sampdoria, probably as a gesture of protest against the adventure companion. Today they live in Paris, but they met a few years ago at the wedding of a friend who separated after a few months. And this speaks volumes. In a short time they have become a mysterious Electropop monolith capable of giving something different to listeners, addicted and at risk of falling into the cliff of summer catchphrases.

“Men dogs gabbian” is the first album of Le Feste Antonacciarrived after several singles published in recent years. Spiritual mantra, sound vortices of transcendental beat, hymns to sing at the top of the lips and to dance overwhelmed by a groove ecstasy: a funny disc, almost with a mystical vocation. A new faith to embrace, poised between sacred and profane, comedy and tragedy, devotion and blasphemy. Authors, composers, multi -instrumentalists e Basic producers in Paris, at work with French pop artistsadvertising, documentaries, series and animated films for giants such as HBO, Netflix, Disney Channel and YouTube Originals, “hacked” by Andrea Bocelli for “the most prestigious and awaited” Christmas of the British Kingdom, the John Lewis Christmas ad, Prophetically defined as “Obscure Italian Electropop Artists” by The Guardian, the Antonacci holidays, also thanks to their performances, are carving out a space. But the question remains: why are they called that? Because while they wrote the first songs they wondered: “Yes, but would this song put it on a party by Biagio Antonacci?”.

Our album? It is a collection of icons of our time declined in fiery tones and sounds – underline the two – well outlined images that stand out clearly in that great confusion that is life, skirting the tragedy inherent in existence with a thaumaturgical mix of crazy enthusiasm, lightness and honest anxiety in the background “. In fact, every single element of the disc is played, sung, recorded, produced, mixed by the two of them. The album tells a sort of confusion for sharp images, despite being prismatic and often surreal: It is a record full of grooves and musical references. Talking heads, cazzimma funk, DIY elements, hints of battiato, electronics, prog, jazz and everything that vibrates: A crazy blender of references. Which lives reaches the peak.
