Taylor Swift in Paris: nine live debuts at the first European date

Last night, May 9th, the “Eras tour” – the first tour in five years of Taylor Swift – debuted in Europe for the first of four dates at the Paris La Défense Arena. The tour in the Old Continent will end on 17 August 2024 in London and will see the singer perform in concert also in Italy Next July 13th and 14th at the San Siro Stadium in Milan.

In addition to being the first European stop, last night's Paris show was also the Taylor Swift's first live show after the release of her new album “The tortured poets department” (here is our review), released on April 19th. On stage at the Paris La Défense Arena, the pop star reserved ample space for the songs from her latest album and, alongside her hits and warhorses, offered the public live versions of eight new songs from “The tortured poets department” never performed on stage.

During the first Parisian concert, opened by Paramorethe songs from the new album that Taylor Swift played live for the first time are “But daddy I love him”, “So high school”, “Who's afraid of little old me?”, “Down bad”, “Fortnight” , “The smallest man who ever lived”, “I can do it with a broken heart” and “loml”. However, there were nine live debuts in total performing “Paris” from 2022’s “Midnights.”
