Taylor Swift: already a record for the new album coming soon
Even before its release set for October 3, the new and twelfth album by Taylor Swift, “The Life of a Showgirl”, has already set up a new record. As announced yesterday, September 1, Popstar’s next record publication “became the album with the largest number of pre-albacies in the history of the Countdown Page of Spotify”. The goal was reached the previous day.
“The Life of a showgirl” thus beaten the result obtained last year by the previous study work of Swift, “The Tortured Poets Department” last year. For the singer it is yet another goal in the dominion of the Swedish platform. In recent years, in fact, the voice of “Blank Space” has collected numerous primates on Spotify, including the nomination for artist most listened to in the world on Spotify in 2024.
Taylor Swift announced the details of “The Life of a Showgirl” during an episode of “New Heights”, the podcast of her boyfriend Travis Kelce, conducted together with his brother Jason Kelce. The pop star has described the new album, which – among other things – includes a collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter, like the album that she wanted to “make for a long time”. According to what she explained herself, the project will focus on “What happened behind the scenes, in my personal life”, during the “Eras Tour”.
Recently, after revealing the release of the new album, Taylor Swift has also announced the official engagement with Travis Kelce, writing in a post on social media: “Your English teacher and your physical education teacher get married”.
