Talking Heads: reissue of first album with unreleased tracks
A reissue of Talking Heads’ debut album, originally released in 1977, has been announced for November 8.
“Talking Heads: 77” will be available again in a new super deluxe edition, available as a 3-CD/Blu-ray box set as well as a 4-LP set, which will include a remastered version of the original album, a rarities disc and a live track disc, all previously unreleased and taken from the band’s October 10, 1977 performance at the CBCGB in New York.
As a preview of the release, a rare acoustic version of “Psycho Killer” featuring Arthur Russell has been made available:
