Talk Talk releases 40th anniversary reissue of “It’s My Life”

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the album “It’s My Life” of the Talk Talkthe album was recorded Half-Speed ​​by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios, supervised by the drummer of Talk Talk Lee Harris And Charlie Hollisson of Mark Hollisthe frontman of the British group passed away in 2019 at the age of 64. The 180g black vinyl releases alongside a CD reissue in new packaging.

Originally published February 1984, “It’s My Life” is the band’s second album and followed the 1982 release of their debut “The Party’s Over” which achieved moderate success in the UK reaching number 21 in the charts.

When they started writing and recording “It’s My Life” the band had gone from four to three keyboard players Simon Brenner who had left the band. “Such A Shame”the album’s first single, was a top ten hit across Europe.
