Superluna in Sanremo 2026, De Core podcast: Ermal Meta

New appointment with Alessandro Pieravanti and Danilo “from Fiumicino”who bring their “De Core Podcast” in Sanremo and they turn on the microphones inside Superluna. New guest of the format, co-produced by Dopcastborn from the synergy between Sony Music Italy And MNcommAnd Ermal Meta. The singer-songwriter has a long connection with the Festival, where this year he returns to the competition with the song “Little star“. Also remembering that it is ten years since the birth of his fanclub, the artist greets the audience present and underlines: “It all started in Sanremo”.

The musician of Albanian origin arrives at Superluna as a guest of “De core” after his second visit to Sanremo 2026, which at the end of the second evening of the Festival – where only 15 of the thirty singers in the competition performed, the others will perform tonight – saw him arrive in the top five, the result of the radio vote and the public at home with televoting. “I really didn’t expect to finish in the top five”, he says, thinking of the emotion he felt coming especially from the audience: “But then it was very nice. With a song like mine, however, I didn’t expect it”.

Alessandro Pieravanti and Danilo “from Fiumicino” build one together with Ermal Meta friendly and relaxing chatto have fun and entertain. Each more serious question based on the artist’s experience in Sanremo is intertwined with a more immediate and personal joke or story. The first questions concern the competition and his expert eye on the Festival. When asked if, after his many experiences at the Ariston, he has a winning formula on how to work on a song to present at the Festival, Ermal Meta says: “As you work on the songs, you tend to refine them more and more, but you also end up taking away that slightly rough grip that the songs should preserve. This is why I tend to work little on songs, both lyrically and musically“. He continues: “When I was an author I often had to refine and rework a piece several times. But now that I make songs for myself, I avoid it, because I prefer it. Although there is always room for improvement. But when I start a piece and it comes out like this, it means I like it like that. When you put your hands back on something you’ve already done, it starts to become more of a craft.”

Then questioned about his state of mind in view of the performance in Sanremo and asked if he is “strict” with himself before performing, the voice of “Stella Stellina” explains: “I am strict, but before the performance. I allow myself an intense warm-up an hour before. Then he does all the breathing correctly”. Continues: “The trouble is that in Sanremo there is only one songyou can’t go wrong. On the Ariston stage, anxiety rises, whoever you are. Unless you’ve done two joints before. But you still feel that thing. In the 2021 final I had a joint before going up. It was great to go on stage in that more relaxed state. Then there was no audience in the theater that year.”
