Style Council, the “Café Bleu” album box set is coming
The Style Councilthe band that Paul Weller founded together with the keyboard player Mick Talbot in 1982 after leaving i Jamhave announced a new special edition of their first album from 1984, “Café Bleu”a 6-CD and 3-LP vinyl box set, featuring previously unreleased material, initial demos, BBC sessions and live recordings.
The group (here is his story) who debuted with the EP “Introducing the Style Council” in 1983 it disbanded in 1989 after having released four albums, the last of which, “Confessions of a Pop Group” in 1988.
Now, more than forty years later, the Style Council they will publish the “Café Bleu Special Edition”with material from their archive enriched by the radio host’s liner notes Gary Crowley.
