Stone Roses: the vinyl of “So young”, their first single, is arriving

In recent years fans of Stone Roses they have practically received no news from their favorites. The band’s reunion ended in 2017 and, apart from the album of John Squire together with Liam Gallagher (read the review here), released in the first part of 2024, by Ian Brown, Hands And Kidneys traces have been lost.

This month, however, marks the fortieth anniversary of the release of “So young”their debut single, and is about to be reissued on limited edition vinyl for charity. Thin Linethe record label that originally released the single, teamed up with the Manchester record shop Vinyl Revivaland will be released on raspberry-colored vinyl. All proceeds will benefit Young Lives vs Cancer and other charities.

When
“So Young”
was released in 1985 and failed to enter the charts. The band, however, didn’t seem to notice too much. The singer
