Springsteen and the 2025 version of “Nebraska”: “Open All Night”
We said it not many days ago: 2025 is the golden year for Bruce Springsteen fans. We have a new test: a new extract from the box “Nebraska ’82: expanded edition”, Which will be Published on October 17th From Sony Music, a few days before the release of the film “Deliver Me From Nowhere”. And it is precisely one of the two songs that contains the phrase that gives the title to the book by Warren Zanes to which the film is inspired: “Open All Night”, in a new beautiful live version engraved in 2025, of which both the audio and the video was released. In fact, a live performance with the whole album, recently recorded in a theater – As the boss did in 2010 for “Darkness on the edge of Town”, reincided for the “The Promise” box. The film was directed by Thom Zimny, and we see Bruce voice and electric guitar playing the song, assisted by an acoustic guitarist in the penumbra, Larry Campbell (already in the Dylan band for a long time). The live was also engraved with Charli Giordano, a keyboard player from the E Street Band, while the place is the Count Basie Theater of Red Bank, in New Jersey. It reads in a note
“The only thing we did not do with the album Nebraska was not to play it live, so my first thought, when we talked about celebrating the disc, was: there must be a performance, you have to sing these songs from start to the end. My concern was being able to maintain a little bit of the mouth that had the record had. We were lucky to have with us the great Larry Campbell and Charlie Giordano, who contributed with an instrumental accompanying minimum, and Rob Lebret did a really great job in the mix while maintaining the integrity of the disc at that level
Director Thom Zimny told, instead

The box set will be available in the versions 4 LP + Blu-Ray and 4 CD + Blu-ray. The deluxe re -edition of “Nebraska” will include the legendary sessions “Electric Nebraska“With the musicians of the E Street Band, as well as other unpublished material, including Songs recorded by soloist excluded at the time of the publication, this 2025 concert, both in video and audio version.
