Snoop Dogg proposes to be a curler at the Olympics

“Milan-Cortina I’m coming!” he exclaims Snoop Dogg at the Golden Globes ceremony. One of Olympic sports’ most unusual fans will return for another edition of the Games – and he’s already promising a spectacle.

“Everybody talks about skiing and crazy descents, but let’s take it easy,” Snoop says. “Maybe I’ll try one sport, but only one. Maybe the curling“. Why curling? The answer, It goes without sayingis in true Snoop Dogg style:

Let’s face it: I really know what to do with a mop. When I was young with the mop I was the best. I worked at McDonald’s and Lucky’s, and no one cleaned like me.

As at the 2024 summer Olympic Games in Paris, the rapper is linked to Team USA as an honorary coach and testimonial, while he will arrive on the slopes of Milan-Cortina as a guest of NBCUniversal. In Paris, the Californian rapper wore his knight’s uniform to attend a riding event, and carried the Olympic Flame before the Opening Ceremony.

He can’t miss the next five-ring event: “The Olympics are the biggest stage in the world and, as everyone knows, I love sport and bringing people together while having fun. I’ll bring with me my down jackets, snow pants, ski goggles and skates. I’ll definitely be dressed all in white.”
