Smile have released the video for “Don’t get me started”

Smile have released a brand new song, “Don’t Get Me Started,” with a music video directed by audiovisual artist Weirdcore. “Don’t Get Me Started” was originally premiered live in concert during a series of shows earlier this year. Last week, the band released the song along with another new track called “The Slip” on a 12-inch vinyl LP exclusively at independent record stores. Now, “Don’t Get Me Started” is available to stream online globally, and has a music video to match.

Created by visual artist Weirdcore, known for his collaborations with Aphex Twin, Radiohead and The Caretaker, the video features an ever-changing environment. “Don’t get me started” and “The slip” arrive six months after the release of “Wall of eyes”, the latest album by the group composed of the two masterminds of Radiohead Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood together with drummer Tom Skinner, founder of Sons of Kemet. To update Radiohead and Smile fans on the conditions of Greenwood, struck by an unspecified infection, was his brother Colin, through a post shared on social media last July 18: “He is recovering at home and watching Seinfeld reruns. He is doing better”.
