Slash revisits Fleetwood Mac for his first blues album

Ahead of the release of his new solo album “Orgy of the Damned,” a record of twelve blues covers arriving May 17th via Gibson Records, Slash has shared another preview of his next project.

After the single with Brian Johnson of AC/DC on vocals e Steven Tyler by Aerosmith on harmonica, with which he re-read “Killing Floor” Of Howlin' Wolfthe Guns N' Roses guitarist released the cover of Fleetwood Mac's “Oh well”.. The new version of the song, originally written by Peter Green, sees Slah collaborate with country artist Chris Stapleton, who is entrusted with the vocal interpretation.

In addition to the leader of the Australian band, Steven Tyler and Stapleton, Axl Rose's associate has collaborated with many other guests for “Orgy of the damned”including Iggy Pop, Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes, Gary Clark Jr., Billy F Gibbons of ZZ Top, Dorothy, Paul Rodgers of Bad Company and pop star Demi Lovato.

Before releasing his new album, the guitarist of Guns N' Roses he will return to perform in our country next April 22nd with his band formed by Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, at the Forum in Assago, near Milan. With the Alter Bridge frontman and his solo project, Slash released his fourth and most recent studio album, “4” in 2022 (here's our review). At the opening they will play Mammoth WVHan American rock formation led by the son of art Wolfgang Van Halen.
