Sinéad O’Connor: Dua Lipa’s live tribute
Two years after his death, which took place on 26 July 2023, Sinéad O’Connor was paid homage to the stage by Dua Lipa. As part of his “Radical Optimism Tour”, which at each date sees it pay homage to local artists of the cities in which he performs with a cover, the British pop star of Kosovan origins has decided to dedicate a moment to the Irish musician during his Show in Dublin last June 27th.
During the second act of the concert, the “Levitating” item proposed a tribute to Sinéad O’Connor performing a cover of “Nothing appears 2 u”. The song was originally written by Prince For his parallel project The Family and then came reread by the Irish artist in 1990becoming a world hit.

Before paying homage to O’Connor, the pop star had – among other things – re -read songs of AC/DC during a show in Australia, had made a tribute to Raffaella Carràon the occasion of the Milanese stage at the I-Days (here our story), and had chosen to reinterpret the classic “Hey Jude”Of the Beatles in Liverpool.
