The magic of Pink Floyd relives, Gemitaiz, Paky, Nas are also there

Shine on, you crazy Inter

The “Biscione” meets the “Prisma”. The match between Inter and Cagliari it’s not just an opportunity for the Nerazzurri battleship to push towards the Scudetto: it’s also the perfect context to celebrate the new, iconic collaboration between Inter and Sony Music Italy to celebrate 50 years of “Wish You Were Here” (Rockol’s mixtape here). The club’s product line “branded” by Pink Floyd immediately sent the fans into a frenzy, who have now sold out almost all the collectible memorabilia, from the shirt to the picks up to the tote bag. After all, there is a long-standing history between Pink and football (we’ll tell you about it here) and a new chapter was written just last night, Friday 17 April 2026.

The room Hospitality Club Watch (whose name pays homage to the “L’Orologio” restaurant in Milan, the historic place where Inter was born in 1908) inaugurates the evening at the Meazza with various spaces dedicated to Pink Floyd, including the DJ stationwhich periodically plays “WYWH”. The red ring becomes the “Dark side of San Siro”, which from 8.30pm lights up to the tune of the 1975 masterpiece. The lawn is a vinyl ready to be put on the turntable.

The first half is grumpy, Inter attacks, but it is a slow, layered maneuver, like a solo David Gilmour; Cagliari resists and actually gives Christian Chivu’s team a hard time. The advantage comes in the first minutes of the second half as a low attack of Roger Waters: powerful, physical, inevitable. Thuram tears through the Sardinian defense and starts the dancing.

If Inter has a metronome, it is Nicolò Barella. The doubling is his own work: a mix of dynamism, precision and arrogance, like Nick Mason behind the drums. Cagliari already appears comfortably numb in front of the Nerazzurri’s phrasing, but that’s not all. A flash from Piotr Zielinski under the top corner in added time definitively closed the game and transformed the final into a triumphal catwalk for the league leaders.

Inter take home another three precious points on the road to the tricolour, driven by the eternal score of “Wish You Were Here” which – at this point we can say – is already a talisman. “It will be called International, because we are brothers of the world”. And after all, we’re only ordinary men.
