Savatage in concert in Italy after over twenty years

Savatage return to concert in Italy more than twenty years after their last Italian appearance. The band originally from Florida will perform at Alcatraz in Milan on June 24, 2025.

Tickets will be on sale as follows:

– on presale by connecting to Metalitalia.com from 7 December from 10:00 to 09:59 on 9 December; registration on the site will not be necessary;

– in general presale on MC2Live.it, from 10am on 9 December.
Another band will perform at the opening and will be announced soon.

Savatage’s live return has been awaited by fans for years but now the line-up made up of John Lee Middleton, Zak Stevens, Chris Caffery, Jeff Plate and Al Pitrelli is ready to perform on the major European stages.

Vocalist Zak Stevens says: “As you can imagine, there are so many emotions running through my mind when I think about upcoming concerts. We will be holding a series of headlining shows for the first time in over twenty years that will bring us back in front of all the incredible fans who have given us so many unforgettable memories over the past three decades. This will be our chance to directly give back something important to everyone who has been there supporting us all this time!”

Savatage founder Jon Oliva states: “I’m very excited for the guys to do some shows, unfortunately, due to health issues I won’t be able to join them, I hope this situation is only temporary, I will continue to work in the studio on new music for the future. These concerts will be amazing and I will work with the guys to prepare them for you. We are very excited and ready to rock it! So from my side, thank you for the support all these years, we can’t wait to see you rock!”.
