The big number competing at the 2026 Sanremo Festival could go from 26 to 28. This is directly implied by Carlo Conti. Speaking yesterday at the “Tv Sorrisi e Canzoni” Entertainment Festival in Milan, the host and artistic director of the event inevitably also spoke about Sanremo 2026 and said:

Conti also announced that Nicola Savino will host the DopoFestival. For the latter it will be a return: he hosted the night event dedicated to the event already in 2016 and 2017.

And who knows, maybe California, after the recent breakup of Coma_Cose, decides to participate as a soloist.

Benji & Fede, Coez, Luchè and Emma Nolde (together with Motta) could make their debuts at the Ariston. Possible surprises: Matteo Bocelli, son of art, and Tommy Cash, who could ride the wave of his “Espresso Macchiato”.

Meanwhile, on November 11th, the appointments with the Sanremo Giovani selections will start in the late evening on Rai2. The episodes will be hosted by YouTuber and podcaster Gianluca Gazzoli: the names of the 34 artists selected from the over 500 proposals received were revealed this week and among them there are several faces already known to the television audience.
