Samuel dei Subsonica has announced a new solo album
After the singles “Sol of the future” and “Black Sea”, Samuel Romano, known to most to be the Subsonica singer, announced the release of his new solo album. The album, the third of the Turin singer without the bandmates, will be titled “Maree” and will be released on June 27: it will mark a new solo chapter for Romano, for the first time flanked by the independent label Asian Fake, behind – among others – to the success of the Coma things.
“Maree” comes eight years after the 2017 solo debut with “The beauty code” and four from “White Brigade”. Samuel will present the songs during the next concerts of his tour: on June 29 he will perform at the Woodoo Festival in Cassano Magnago (in the province of Varese), on July 25th he will be on the stage of the Diorama Festival of San Salvo (in the province of Chieti), on July 26 he will be at the Polyphonic of Valle d’Itria (Bari) and the 29 Agostio will instead perform in Cogoleto (in Genoa).
“In the last two years I have played everywhere, I have listened to a lot of music club. I left everything else aside to go home, to my origin: the dancefloor. ‘Treas’ is born from there, but it crosses even the most extreme pop, the songwriter, the techno. It is a journey that closes a cycle and opens another one, where every sound is a wave that brings back to the roots.
