Rosalía, here is the new single "Berghain"

Rosalìa, the new album leaked online days before its release

Rosalía’s new album, “Lux”, was released in its entirety online two days before its release. The official publication is scheduled for November 7th. According to what was reported by “Catalan News”, the 18 songs from the Catalan singer’s fourth studio album were circulated online starting from 11pm yesterday, November 4th. The tracks were shared online and were then picked up by thousands of fans, thus continuing to circulate. The record was pirated after the song “Reliquia”, performed in Spanish and focused on love, was published on Tuesday afternoon and then removed from Spotify within a few hours on Tuesday afternoon. Furthermore, according to what has been reported online, he is credited as the composer – among others – of the piece Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk.

As confirmed by the pop star herself in an interview with the “New York Times”, “Lux” – whose digital version includes 15 songs, while the physical ones are made up of 18 tracks, divided into four movements – includes thirteen languages.

“Lux” contains numerous collaborations, including the one with Björk, with whom Rosalía had already worked in 2023 on the song “Oral”.

The album is described as an “immersive and innovative” work, which explores “a broad emotional arc of feminine mysticism and transcendence”.
