Rolling Stones rejuvenated in deepfake for new video

Another step towards the new album by Rolling StonesForeign Tongues” which will be released next July 10th. The Stones have released the official video clip for “In The Stars”, the first real single from the album, after “Rough and Twisted”, the opening track of the album previously released in a limited edition on white vinyl released under the pseudonym The Cockroaches.

The video is directed by François Rousselet, already author of the clips for “Angry” and “Ride ‘Em On Down”, and sees the participation of the actress Odessa A’zion. It is a video, the notes explain, which uses deepfake technology from Deep Voodoo, with the Stones rejuvenated to look like the Seventies engaged in a performance together with musicians, dancers and performers from different eras and contexts.

Produced like the previous “Hackney Diamonds” (2023) by Andrew Watt, the 14 tracks of the album were recorded in less than a month at the Metropolis in London by the three band members supported by Darryl Jones, Matt Clifford and Steve Jordan.
