Rockol Awards, the “best Italian live” award to Vasco Rossi

In the context of Rockol Awards 2025the prize awarded by readers for the “Best Italian live” was won by Vasco Rossi. Blasco beat the other finalists in triplet: Cesare Cremonini And Marco Mengoni.

To constitute the panel of candidates voteable by readers, we took into consideration new albums and concerts/tours by Italian artists released or performed in the period from 1 November 2024 to 31 October 2025.

The tour “Vasco Live 2025” stopped in seven Italian cities from 26 May to 28 June 2025. The concept was the celebration of lifea theme that the rocker from Zocca then also put at the center of the “The Essentials” box set dedicated to the best moments of the tour (here is our review). For the first time since 2003, in the live shows of 2025 Vasco re-proposed “Vita spericolata” in its entirety, and brought back pieces such as “Valium”, “Vivere non è facile” and “Io perperrò” to the setlist. The tour, among other things, recorded a total of 637,000 spectators.

During the Rockol Awards ceremony on 29 January 2026, in the setting of Santeria Toscana in Milan, the victory was announced by Davide Poliani of Rockol.

Before Vasco, the “Best emerging artist” award of 2025 according to the Rockol editorial team was awarded to Anna Castiglia. During the evening, in addition to awards from SIAE, NUOVOIMAIE and CartaCantaanother prize will be awarded by the readers, the one for the “Best Italian album”, and the other prizes already announced, such as the Live special prize 2025 to Bresh. and the “Best Artist” Award to Joan Thiele.
