Rockol Awards 2024, special award to Daniele Silvestri: the video
“Thirty years of career (plus one, considering that his debut album came out in 1994, editor’s note) for one of the most unreliable artists of Italian music. He has never bent on fashions, today there is no new songwriter generation that does not have to do something. Di Rockol chose to reward Daniele Silvestri with the Special Rockol Award at the Rockol Awards 2024. The recognition was awarded to the Roman songwriter as part of the premium delivery event, tonight at the Santeria Toscana in Milan.
Silvestri withdrew the prize and excited the spectators of the Milanese club on the notes of some of his most loved songs, from “my enemy” to “with a closed mouth”, passing through “my house”.
The Rockol Prize has been awarded over the years to the east, Motta, Nic Cester, Lightning, Fast Animals and Slow Kids and 35 caliber, all protagonists of the music scene that Rockol tells every day.
The artist next September will return to the stage of Rome for 3 new special dates of “The recurrence storytellers”, his latest show born to celebrate 30 years of career. Appointment on 2, 3 and 4 September 2025 in Cavea Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone.
