Rockol Awards 2024, partial ranking: TARM and Alfa at the top
Voting is underway to elect the winners of the Rockol Awards 2024 in the Best Italian Album and Best Italian Live categories. If you haven’t done so yet, click here.
Today, Monday 9 December, we are publishing the first partial ranking to inform you about the progress of the vote. A week after the opening of the voting, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti with their album “Garage Pordenone” is prevailing in the Best Album category, while Alfa is in first position in the Best Live category.
To constitute the panel of eligible candidates, we took into consideration new albums and concerts/tours by Italian artists released or performed in the period from 1 November 2023 to 31 October 2024.
Within this time frame, 35 albums and 35 concerts were selected by the Rockol editorial team. For the album category, only publications with new songs were considered. Reissues, special editions of albums originally released outside the period, live records, collections and EPs were not considered. For the concert section, however, both tours and single concerts were considered.

Voting in progress
Voting is open from 10am today, 2 December 2024, and will continue until 10am on 8 January 2025. The voting mechanism is really very basic. To have access to the vote, all you need is a Facebook, Google, MyRockol or MusicBiz account. However, a few simple warnings should be kept in mind:
- it is not possible to change a vote once it has been assigned
- it is possible to complete the vote at different times (for example by voting today for the Best Live and at a later time for the Best Album, and vice versa).
- only one vote can be expressed for each category: the multiplication of identities through fictitious email accounts carried out in a systematic and organized manner may result in the cancellation of the vote expressed through them.
Every week we will publish a partial ranking so as to allow you to follow the progress of the voting in the two categories, that of Best Album and that of Best Live.
