Robbie Williams wrote a letter to Yungblud
It’s been a year of ups and downs for Dominic Harrison, aka Yungblud. The release of the new album “Idols”, the inauguration of his club and the first Grammy nominations, but also the loss of his mentor Ozzy Osbourne and the cancellation of his last concerts on doctor’s orders. In this year of emotional roller coaster, a letter also arrived from an artist very distant from Ozzy and metal: Robbie Williams.
“He wrote me this letter when I really needed it,” Yungblud reveals. “He told himself to metelling me that he knew what it was like to be a 28-year-old trying to figure out who he was, while at the same time having to deal with a million opinions about what he might or might never be. People don’t give Robbie credit for his mind and his way of seeing things.” Williams has turned to other artists for support in the past, as happened with Lewis Capaldi in 2023.
Yungblud still has a string of arena dates lined up in the UK and Ireland, a tour he recently extended due to huge demand, while his EP with Aerosmith, ‘One More Time’, has been a hit (read Rockol’s review here).
