Robbie Williams ‘Could Rejoin Take That’
Robbie Williams50, achieved fame as a member of the pop/boy band Take That from 1990 to 1995, before embarking on a solo career in 1996 after years of conflict with his bandmate Gary Barlow.
But now everything seems to be over and Gary said that there is the possibility of Robbie’s return to the group, which isthe band reformed as a four-piece in 2005 without Williams, who briefly rejoined, before the band became a trio in 2014 after Jason Orange54, has left training for a life away from the spotlight.
Gary told the Daily Mail that he and his bandmates Mark Owen52 years old, and Howard Donald, 56 years old, they could join Robbie again: “What if there will be five of us again? It could be. Will there be four of us again? Probably yes. Who knows?”
“The phone rings and it could mean anything,” Barlow added, “but that’s the emotion. We’re all friends. We all talk to each other, some more than others. I’d say the chances of the quintet happening are slim.”
And the “colleague” admits: “Robbie’s return? I imagined it. Here you are.”
When the interviewer told him that a Robbie return would “excite the fans”, Gary replied: “Well, it excites me.”
Gary also talked about how he, Mark and Howard don’t tone down their ballets on tour despite their age.
He said: “When we get off stage we are dripping with sweat.” Gary, who has spent years battling his ideal weight, added how he prepares for Take That shows: “If we’re going on a long tour, the preparation is based on cardio fitness, because I have to sing while I have to be able to take a deep breath and that lasts me a few beats. Otherwise I do weights and balance work regularly. It’s all very exciting.
