Riccardo Cocciante: five dates in Milan in March
With “It was all already planned”, a 1975 song from the album “L’Alba”, Riccardo Cocciante is currently climbing the streaming charts on Spotify. After entering the top 5 of listeners, it is now among the top 10 most streamed songs on the platform.
The song in question (with the lyrics, written by Marco Luberti) is experiencing this comeback because it entered the soundtrack of “Parthenope”, the new recent film by Paolo Sorrentino (Read here) and is experiencing a second youth and renewed success. Already in 2013 Andrea Bocelli had recorded his own version.
Riccardo Cocciante is a point of reference for Italian pop song. In his repertoire there are songs that have reached the top of the charts such as “Margherita”, “Bella senza soul”, ” Quando fini un amore” and later “Cervo a primavera” or “Questione di feeling” (in duet with Mina). In the wake of this “rediscovery” and above all after the sold out show at the Verona Arena of last September 29th, organized to (anticipate) the 50th anniversary of the album “Anima” (that of “Era Already Tutto Prevision”) Cocciante returns live with five theatrical dates on the calendar Sunday 9th, Tuesday 11th, Friday 14th, Sunday 16th and Tuesday 18th March 2025 al Arcimboldi Theater in Milan.
Just as in the show at the Verona Arena, the one in Milan will also be an opportunity to retrace and appreciate the prolific discography of one of the most successful artists and composers in Italy and abroad, who has published more than 40 albums in three languages. .
