After the deluxe edition i Queens of the Stone Age have announced the standard vinyl version of “Alive in the catacombs” which will be available in stores starting from September 26th.

“Alive in the catacombs” sees the group in its most essential form: Joshua Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Ferita And Jon Theodoreaccompanied by a section of three arches, which use chains and chopsticks as improvised percussive tools. All completely without filters, since each song has been recorded live in a single recovery, without overwhelming or changes. The audio was recorded by Mark Rankin, François-Xavier Delaby, Henri d’Armancourt And Alban Lejeuneand was produced by Mark Rankin. The final mixing was curated by Mark Rankin, Joshua Homme And Michael Shuman.
