Porto Antico EstateSpettacolo: events until 3 August

Porto Antico EstateSpettacolo 2025 is heading to the closure of the first part of the billboard With the eight appointments scheduled from 31 July to 3 August at the Expo Arena de Mare and in Piazza delle Feste. From 22 to 29 August SummerSpettacolo will resume on the island of the Church with Sea Stories and the theatrical productions of the Chierici-Cicolella company.

Four shows at the Expo Arena, all signed by the new Verdi theater in Montecatini. After the success of two years ago, Thursday 31 July Max Angioni returns with “Even less”. In the new show Angioni is a thirty year old (a little more), the only child, he learned to observe the world with a surreal and imaginative look. From small daily episodes to the big questions of existence, everything passes through its comic filter: the memories of the first times, the incredible conquests, the most improbable curiosities about the history and the meaning of life … or perhaps, even less. The rhythm is tightened by Stand Up Comedy and the skill of natural improvisation, irony is a sort of superstitious rite, where Angioni makes fun of its bad luck and overturns the common point of view with the disarming force of the imagination and absurd. A comedy that surprises, amuses and – inevitably – makes you think.

This new edition, after the success of the previous one, breaks down the limits of the politically correct to explore a greater concept: that of (D), in any form it is conceived. “Din Don Down” is a comic happening that unhinges our idea of “normality” between laughter, tenderness and a pinch of healthy disobedience. “Abba Dream Tribute”, Sunday 3 Augustis a dutiful tribute to the legendary Swedish band.
