Porto Antico Estate Show in Genoa: a sea of concerts
Everything is ready for Porto Antico Summerspettacolo 2025, The summer review that for the 26th consecutive year animates the heart of Genoese Waterfront with a transversal artistic proposal that brings to our city on the leading names of the scene. Organized by Porto Antico of Genoawho takes care of the overall direction, records a leap forward this year, in total numerical terms, with a total of 77 appointments, of which 32 at the Expo Arena del Mare, 30 in Piazza delle Feste and 14 on the island of the bargers. The programming, as usual, brings together the artistic proposals of the most important music festivals in the area and beyond.
Lucio Corsi e Bunori

From Black Widow Records, two formats dedicated to rock arrive as always: Porto Live Tribute Fest will be on the stage of Piazza delle Festa on Friday 1 August with Lex and the Skinwater (Southern Rock Tribute), H-ELP (Emerson, Lake & Palmer Tribute), Garybaldi Serenade (tribute to Bambi Fossati) and Rush the Straggiato villa (tribute to the Rush). The prog fest is divided on two later evenings, on August 2 with Goblin Legacy, The Trip, Presence and Arpia, the 3 with Aliante, Furio Chirico’s The Trip and the Colombo egg. Three dates, all already sold out, of the Holy Fest, second new entry of SummerSpettacolo 2025, with Sayf & Genoa, from 23 to 25 July in Piazza delle Festa; One of the freshest and most powerful voices of the national urban scene, the revelation artist who is conquering Italy.
Isola delle Chiattte will always be the natural stage for Sea Stories Festival by Igor Chierici and Andrea Cicolella, now in the finish of the tenth edition. Some historical shows of the original theatrical review will follow: on 16 and 18 July the legend of the pianist on the ocean, on 22 and 26 August the storm in the kingdom of Ariele, on 23 and 25 August transition to the north west. On 27 August it will be the time of night par, with two shows, at 19.30 and at 9.30 pm, to get to the grand finale of Moby Dick the legend with the Japanese Taiko group Kyo Shin Do on 28 and 29 August.
The data of 2024
The presentation of the review was an opportunity to illustrate some of the most significant data that emerged from the survey on the economic impact of Porto Antico EstateSpettacolo 2024 conducted by the Diagram Study Center to include characteristics, behaviors and habits. The origin is 70% from the metropolitan area of Genoa, 12% from Liguria, 18% from outside Liguria, and 1% from abroad. Of these 94% came specifically for the shows, only 6% for other reasons. For those coming from outside the favorite transport is the car for 84% of interviewees, 9% used the train, 1.1% long -distance buses and 0.8% the plane. 19% slept at least one night in Genoa and surroundings, 73% of which in paid structures, with an average expenditure of 59 euros (ranging from about 116 for a night in the hotel to 16 for a camping night) 36% of the participants consumed a meal, with an average expenditure of 36 euros, 43% carried out the bar for an average expenditure of 16 euros. The economic impact on the city has been calculated in 1,650,000 euros, where 35% was represented by the overnight and 65% by catering.
